New:
1. Added Sort by option on the trips page.
In version v1.2.2, Tripzzy has introduced a new feature to enhance user experience on the trips page: the “Sort By” option. This feature allows users to organize their trip search results more effectively by offering sorting options such as “Price” and “Name.” With the ability to sort trips by price, users can quickly identify options that fit their budget, while the name sorting feature helps locate specific trips with ease. This addition simplifies the trip selection process, making it more intuitive and tailored to individual preferences.
2. Added option to enable/disable shine overlay effect on tripzzy images.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy introduced a feature allowing users to enable or disable the overlay effect on images. This customizable option gives users greater control over their visual experience while browsing trips. Whether you prefer the sleek, shiny overlay for a modern look or a simpler, distraction-free design, this feature ensures that Tripzzy adapts to your personal preferences. It’s another step toward making Tripzzy more flexible and user-centric, providing a tailored experience for every traveler.
3. Added option to enable/disable lightbox on tripzzy images.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy now offers a new feature that allows users to enable or disable the lightbox effect on images. This gives you the flexibility to choose between an immersive, full-screen view for trip images or a simpler browsing experience without the lightbox. Additionally, this update resolves conflicts with lightbox functionality from third-party integrations, ensuring a smoother and more seamless experience. With this enhancement, Tripzzy becomes even more adaptable to your preferences and external tools, making trip planning more convenient and hassle-free.
Tweaks:
1. Display Post states for Tripzzy forms in the admin.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has introduced a new feature in the admin panel that displays post states for Tripzzy forms, making form management more intuitive and efficient. This enhancement allows users to easily identify different forms, such as the inquiry form, checkout form, and others, directly from the admin interface. By clearly labeling and categorizing forms, this feature simplifies navigation and ensures admins can quickly locate and manage specific pages without confusion. It’s a step forward in improving organization and streamlining workflows within the Tripzzy platform.
2. Updated default email templates.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has enhanced its default email templates by updating the design to include a polished header and footer layout across all templates. This update not only improves the visual appeal but also ensures a more professional and cohesive look for all default emails. The redesigned templates provide a better user experience by making emails more engaging and aligned with Tripzzy’s modern aesthetic. Whether it’s booking confirmations, inquiries, or notifications, every email now looks more attractive and brand-consistent.
Fixes:
1. Fixed the broken link in the active page number for pagination.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has resolved an issue with the pagination functionality where the active page number was displaying a broken link, showing void(0) instead of a proper URL. Clicking on the current page number would previously result in a 404 error, causing confusion for users. This fix ensures that the active page number is now correctly linked and no longer redirects to an error page, providing a smoother and more reliable navigation experience throughout the platform.
2. Fixed trip pagination issues if query args changed via hooks.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has addressed a critical issue with trip pagination that occurred when query arguments were modified via hooks. Previously, this issue could cause empty pages to appear, particularly on the last page of results, due to incorrect pagination calculations. The problem stemmed from sticky trips being included in the pagination count, which led to an inaccurate total number of pages. With this fix, pagination now works seamlessly, ensuring accurate page counts and preventing empty pages, even when query arguments are customized. This improvement ensures a smoother browsing experience for users and more reliable pagination functionality.
3. Fixed Displaying all recurring dates on the all-departure section on page load.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has resolved an issue with the “All Departures” section, where all recurring dates were being displayed at once upon page load. This issue caused unnecessary clutter and confusion for users viewing departure schedules. The fix ensures that only the relevant date ranges between the recurring start and end (until) dates are listed when a recurring end date is specified. This improvement streamlines the display of departure dates, providing a cleaner and more organized view while maintaining accurate information for recurring trips.
4. Fixed Displaying the date list upto the end of the month even if we set a date until to middle of the month.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has fixed an issue in the date listing functionality where dates were displayed up to the end of the month, even if the “end date (until)” was set to the middle of the month. Previously, this caused confusion as availability appeared to extend beyond the specified date range. With this fix, the date list now accurately reflects the availability only up to the set “until” date, ensuring clarity and precision in displaying trip schedules. This enhancement improves the reliability of date-based information for both users and admins.
5. Fixed displaying decimal review even added whole number review. Like 5-star review shows 2.5.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy addressed an issue where review ratings were being displayed as decimal values, even for whole-number ratings. For instance, a 5-star review was incorrectly shown as 2.5 stars. This fix ensures that review ratings are now accurately displayed, showing whole numbers for whole-star ratings and decimals only when appropriate. This enhancement provides a clearer and more accurate representation of user feedback, helping potential customers make more informed decisions based on the true rating of trips.
6. Fixed displaying all the package category even not selected in thankyou page and email.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has resolved an issue where all package categories were being displayed on the thank you page and in the confirmation email with empty price, even if they had not been selected by the user. This fix ensures that only the relevant package categories, based on the user’s selection, are shown in the thank you page and email, providing a more accurate and personalized experience. With this update, users will now receive confirmation details that reflect their actual choices, making the communication clearer and more tailored to their preferences.
7. Fixed minor issue with an undefined index if no payment gateway is active.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has fixed a minor issue where an “undefined index” error occurred if no payment gateway was active. This issue caused an unexpected display error for users, particularly in situations where no payment method was set up or available. With this fix, the system now handles such cases gracefully, preventing any errors from showing up and ensuring a smoother user experience. This improvement contributes to a more stable and error-free interface, especially when managing payment configurations.
8. Fixed Trip filter is not showing on the archive page if only the price range filter is active.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy addressed an issue where the trip filter was not appearing on the archive page when only the price range filter was active. This issue caused confusion for users, as they were unable to refine their search based on other criteria when the price filter was the sole active option. With this fix, the trip filter now correctly displays on the archive page, even when only the price range filter is applied, ensuring a more seamless and user-friendly experience when browsing and narrowing down trip options.
9. Minor check availability button issue and responsiveness fixed on the trip detail page.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has fixed a minor issue with the “Check Availability” button on the trip detail page, improving both its functionality and responsiveness. Previously, the button may not have been working as expected or displayed improperly on certain devices. This fix ensures that the button now functions smoothly across all screen sizes, providing a more consistent and user-friendly experience for users checking availability. Whether on desktop or mobile, users can now easily interact with the button, improving overall navigation and booking flow on the trip detail page.
10. Fixed broken layout for TRIPZZY_TRIP_TAXONOMY shortcode.
In version 1.2.2, Tripzzy has resolved an issue with the layout of the TRIPZZY_TRIP_TAXONOMY shortcode, which was previously displayed incorrectly. This fix ensures that the shortcode now renders properly, providing a clean and organized layout for displaying trip taxonomies on the site. Whether for filtering trips by category, destination, or other criteria, the improved layout enhances the visual presentation and functionality, making it easier for users to navigate and find relevant trips. This fix contributes to a more polished and seamless user experience.
