This update includes fixing of Tripzzy Dashboard Profile and other changes.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback driving our ongoing development efforts.
Let’s explore the changes we’ve made in Tripzzy v1.1.9
Tweaks:
1. Added template part for checking the availability section of a single trip page.
In version 1.1.9, we introduced a dedicated template part for the “Check Availability” section on single trip pages. This addition streamlines customization and ensures that this critical feature can be easily modified to meet specific design and functionality needs. By enhancing flexibility, the update improves the user experience for both site administrators and travelers.
2. Added capability read for user manager.
In version 1.1.9, we added the “read” capability for users with the Manager role. This enhancement ensures that managers can now access and view relevant content as intended, improving their ability to manage and oversee operations effectively. By expanding their capabilities, this update supports smoother workflows and better administrative control.
3. Added logout URL to the admin Tripzzy Dashboard.
We added a logout URL to the Tripzzy Dashboard, making it easier for administrators to sign out of their accounts. This enhancement improves usability by providing a straightforward and accessible way to log out, ensuring a more seamless user experience.
4. Added reset password option in Tripzzy Dashboard.
In version 1.1.9, we introduced a reset password option in the Tripzzy Dashboard, allowing users to conveniently update their passwords directly from their profiles. This addition enhances account security and simplifies the process of managing login credentials, providing users with greater control over their account safety.
5. WP Login redirects to the Tripzzy Dashboard page for customer and manager roles.
In version 1.1.9, we implemented a feature that redirects users with the Customer and Manager roles to the Tripzzy Dashboard page after logging in via WordPress. This update streamlines navigation by taking users directly to the dashboard, ensuring quicker access to relevant tools and information tailored to their roles.
6. Loaded plugin text domain in init hook instead of plugins_loaded hook.
In version 1.1.9, we updated the plugin to load the text domain using the init
hook instead of the plugins_loaded
hook. This change ensures better compatibility and alignment with WordPress standards, improving the handling of translations and making the plugin more reliable for multilingual setups.
Fixes:
1. Fixed showing first name required issue when submitting an enquiry
In version 1.1.9, we resolved an issue where users encountered a “First name is required” error while submitting the enquiry form, even when the field was properly filled. This bug caused unnecessary confusion and interrupted the form submission process. With this fix, the enquiry form now functions as expected, ensuring a smoother and more seamless user experience.
2. Fixed showing dropdown option without value in admin enquiry detail page.
In version 1.1.9, we fixed an issue in the admin enquiry detail page where fields were incorrectly displayed as dropdowns without any values. This glitch caused unnecessary confusion when viewing enquiry details. With this update, all fields now display correctly, ensuring a more accurate and user-friendly experience for administrators.
3. List all bookings for the user role manager.
We enhanced the booking list by enabling users with the “Tripzzy Manager” role to view all bookings, while customers remain limited to seeing only their bookings. This improvement ensures that managers have full visibility of all reservations for better oversight, while individual users maintain a personalized and secure view of their bookings.
4. Fixed Tripzzy Dashboard profile data is not saving.
In version 1.1.9, we resolved an issue where profile data, such as name and phone number, could not be saved from the Tripzzy Dashboard. With this fix, users can now effortlessly update and save their profile information directly from the dashboard, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for managing personal details.
